The JB104SS terminal box or junction box enables load cells or force transducers to be connected in parallel.
Corner load errors can occur in scales due to mechanical asymmetries. According to the standard for non-automatic scales, for example, certain values must be adhered to when the load is off-center. The terminal boxes offer the possibility of electrically adjusting these errors in a simple manner. For this purpose, there is a network of resistors for each load cell and the signal of a load cell can therefore be changed.
The interface junction boxes are suitable for indoor or outdoor installation, protected from wind-driven dust and rain, splashes and jets of water; also protection against damage caused by external ice formation on the control cabinet. ***A standardized output signal from the interface force transducer is recommended; if a sensor needs to be replaced, no further calibration is necessary
