4-channel measuring amplifier model IFFDM4
Characteristics
- 4 independent input channels
- analog version [A] and
- digital version [D with USB] possible.
- Special versions possible on request.
The strain gauge measuring amplifiers IFFDM4A (A=Analog) and IFFDM4D (D=Digital) are amplifiers with 4 independent channels for sensors with strain gauges, such as force sensors, torque sensors, acceleration sensors or strain transducers. This measuring amplifier is suitable for connecting strain gauge full and half bridges from 87,5 as well as strain gauge quarter bridges. The 37-pin Sub-D socket contains the sensor inputs, bridge extensions and the inputs for the automatic zero adjustment of the individual channels. Alternatively, a version with 4 x M12 round connectors is available. The quarter or half bridge operating mode can be set by the customer on the 37-pin Sub-D socket (see connection diagram for 37-pin Sub-D socket).

- FAQ: DMS amplifier really necessary?
The universally applicable and free BlueDAQ software offers the option of parameterization and, in particular, perfectly integrates the calibration matrix of every IFF6A multi-component transducer. In addition to the standard functions (determination of the unit and scaling factor with decimal place), extensive calculations including FFT analysis can also be carried out. Of course, complete setups and processes (sessions) can be saved.
Is a strain gauge amplifier really necessary?
Signal processing is an important component of a measurement system and converts the relatively small strain gauge bridge signals into standardized analog or digital output signals. The low-noise DC strain gauge measuring amplifiers from interfaceforce are suitable for universal signal conditioning of force, strain and weight sensors with strain gauge full bridge, strain gauge half bridges and strain gauge quarter bridges. Our measuring amplifiers are available with current output, voltage output, USB, RS232, RS485, CAN bus, Ethernet, EtherCat and can be expanded with Ethernet TCP/IP, WLAN, GSM/GPRS/LTE, or fiber optic interface.
Without a suitable strain gauge measuring amplifier, precise measurement is not possible.
