The devices in the IFFDM1 series force measuring amplifiers are designed for connection to strain gauge full bridges with sensitivities from 0,2 mV/V to 50 mV/V and convert their signal into a standard signal of 0…±10 V, 0…±20 mA, or 4…20 mA. Measuring bridges with a bridge resistance of ≥120 Ω can be used. Multiple bridges can be connected in parallel as long as the total resistance does not fall below 120 Ω. The bipolar output allows both compression and tensile forces to be measured. The bridge excitation voltage can be switched between 10 V and 5 V using DIP switches. A 20-turn spindle potentiometer is available for coarse and fine adjustment to adjust the zero point and the end range. In addition, the very coarse gain can be preset using four DIP switches. The output signal and its transmission frequency are also selected using DIP switches. The IFFDM2 model is a comparable model but in DIN rail design and 6-wire technology
