The IFFDA5 digital indicator can process sensor values ​​based on strain gauges (DMS) in 6-wire technology. The internal DMS amplifier uses two additional lines (also called sensor or sense lines) to check the incoming supply voltage directly at the force sensor to see whether the supply voltage is reaching the force sensor in a stable manner. If the supply voltage drops to 9,99 volts during a measurement due to the influence of temperature, for example, this already means an error of -0,1%... which is a relatively large deviation for a force sensor or load cell with a measurement uncertainty of 0,03%.

Optionally, up to 4 changeover relays are available for limit value monitoring, RS232/RS485 interfaces for data from/to the device and analog outputs 0-10 VDC, 4-20 mA or 0-20 mA for further evaluation.
