The compact handheld device model IFFDA93 /9325 is a multifunctional portable high-tech measuring instrument with IP64 protection for the connection of strain gauge-based measuring sensors such as force sensors or torque sensors. The internal resolution of 24 bits enables a maximum display range of +/- 9.999.999 at input sensitivities of up to +/- 480mV/V. Six calibration ranges are available here, which enable different load modes (tension and compression) or different sensors.
The high-tech DMS handheld measuring device supports TEDS with templates 33, 40 and 41. TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet -> electronic data sheet in the sensor) means plug & play for your force transducer and torque transducer. Supporting measuring devices such as the IFFDA93 read out all the necessary sensor characteristics and automatically make important settings. This makes handling much easier... plug in and measure. The last twenty connected TEDS devices are saved and recognized when they are reconnected, restoring the last user experience settings for that device. TEDS can be deactivated and you can use the user-friendly menu structure to set up and perform the adjustment or calibration of the instrument. A toolkit is also available that even supports polynomials.

Supporting measuring devices read out all the necessary sensor data and automatically make important settings. This makes handling much easier… plug in and measure.
Interface TEDS versions comply with IEEE-1451.4 with template 33 (template 30 for sensors with amplifiers). The TEDS modules are installed either directly in the sensor, in the sensor cable or in the connector to the measuring electronics.
