Force measurement enables precision drone flight images
Many of the largest outdoor events around the world use drone technologies equipped with LED lights that work in complete unison to create amazing performances. From coronations and holidays to international sporting events, these incredible illuminated aerial spectacles are growing in scope, design and capabilities.
The use of drones for flight demonstrations is on the rise. Drone swarms offer new opportunities for creating captivating light shows and visual displays that can accompany or even replace certain aspects of traditional fireworks displays. They offer a unique aerial perspective as they fly at different heights and angles. They can be programmed to create specific patterns, shapes and movements in the sky, allowing for more complicated and tailored displays. Drones can also be equipped with different lighting effects and colors, offering a wide range of visual possibilities.
Drone shows offer breathtaking images and add a new dimension to the visual arts in the sky; Nevertheless, security is a priority during development and use. Although drones can be programmed to fly predefined paths and perform certain maneuvers, it is important to ensure that they remain at a safe distance and do not cause risk or damage.
The safety and regulation of a flying object is determined by the location and the relevant authorities. Drone show application
Drone fireworks have become increasingly popular in recent years. Drone fireworks and light shows equip drones with LED lights that fly in synchronized patterns and light up the night sky. For the weight of the LED or the forces generated by fireworks explosions, a force measurement and monitoring system is required.
Interface struck four of its sealed Stainless steel miniature load cells WMC installed on the required propeller motors to measure the attached LED lights. Each cell was with one WTS-AM-1E Wireless Strain Bridge Transmitter Module tied together. The WMCs measure the weight of the LED lights to monitor weight shifts or uneven weight distribution. The data results were transmitted wirelessly via the WTS-BS-4 Wireless Base Station directly to the customer's laptop or to the WTS-BS-1-HA Wireless Handheld Display broadcast for several channels. The four WMC load cells measured and monitored the weight of the attached LED light and ensured the stability of the propeller motors when the drone was in the air performing the fireworks display.
