Calibration & Service
If you would like to send in a sensor or measuring device for repair, please proceed as follows: fill out the form below and describe your repair task as comprehensively as possible. You will immediately receive a so-called RMA number that you can refer to. Please print out the confirmation email from interfaceforce and enclose it with your delivery to us/our logistician below.
Our laboratories are ISO-17025 accredited and offer extensive possibilities to offer manufacturer-independent DAkkS (or A2LA) calibrations and repairs across countries with short turnaround times. e.g.: ISO-376 / DKD-R3-3 / ASTM E74 / flexible factory calibrations / system calibrations with adjustment / system setup / conformity assessment by arrangement
Service calibration delivery conditions:
All information is treated confidentially unless we are legally obliged to do otherwise. Calibrations are carried out using static forces (tensile and/or compressive force) or static moments (left and/or right moment). The calibration values determined apply to the time of calibration. If it becomes apparent during calibration that the sensor and/or amplifier cannot be calibrated, no calibration certificate will be issued, and the costs for the measurements carried out will be invoiced (pro rata). All devices must be clearly marked and delivered with appropriate documentation and in perfect condition. The costs for transport, customs clearance and packaging (if not also laid out as return packaging upon delivery) of the calibration item are borne by the customer. interfaceforce guarantees the correct calibration of the devices, but accepts no liability for the use and operation of the calibrated devices. interfaceforce is not liable for damage to the calibration item as a result of incorrect handling due to incorrect information, markings, hidden defects or defects not reported by the customer. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies exclusively. Due to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we ask you to completely remove personal and sensitive information from your laptop or PC. To prevent your data or measurements from being lost during transport or repair, we ask you to create a backup in advance and store it in a safe place..
Both the A2LA (American Association for Laboratory Accreditation) and the DAkkS (German Accreditation Body) have signed the multilateral agreement MRA (Mutual Recognition Arrangement) for the mutual recognition of accreditations at the ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation). > This means that the calibrations must be mutually recognized
The A2LA / ISO-17025 accredited calibration laboratory of Interface Inc. offers comprehensive service and inexpensive calibrations; we are happy to offer you a door-to-door service.
- Repairs and calibrations of our force transducers, torque transducers and measuring amplifiers
- also for third-party manufacturers
- Forces up to 5MN tension and pressure and
- Torques up to >10kN*m as well
- tensions and
- tensions
In addition to the extensive range of services at our headquarters in Scottsdale, we now also offer interfaceforce eK here in cooperation with local calibration laboratories as an expanded range of services Germany offers recalibrations and system calibrations with short lead times.
In the laboratory near Munich There are currently 3 calibration devices for force measuring ranges available, which allow us to use force measuring devices up to class 0,5 ISO 376 or DKD-R 3-3 to calibrate in tensile and compressive force. Using a variety of adapters, dynamometers and spring balances can also be measured in addition to normal force transducers or load cells.
- The force calibration system UCM, from Morehouse, with a measuring range of 2 kN to 250 kN
- The force calibration system PCM, from Morehouse, with a measuring range of 0,5 N to 10 kN (including Gold Standard and Platinum Standard reference force transducers from interface)
- A self-made dead load calibration device with a measuring range of 10 N to 500 N
All standards used are traced back to DAkkS, NIST or PTB. In conjunction with our calibration software, we can now carry out local calibrations according to ISO 376 – DKD-R 3-3 – VDI/VDE 2624 – free calibration processes. Further guidelines such as ASTM 74 follow. In addition to the measurement amplifiers from interface, the software also supports Morehouse and HBM. Other systems can be implemented at an additional cost. In the range from 20 N to 250 kN, calibration is carried out using transfer standards. A loading device with masses is also available for the range from 0,5 N to 500 N. DAkkS accreditation will be applied for shortly. We also offer these solutions for purchase for customers who want to set up their own laboratory. Existing measurement technology can usually continue to be used.
